A New Home
Hello again! I know that it's been a while and so many things have happened since the last time I wrote. I've finally moved to my own place and there is a big possibility that I won't be moving anywhere anymore. I had to do some renovations to my new place and I also had to get rid of a lot of things that my friends considered as trash. I had to travel all the way to the north (to my sister's place) to salvage a few old wooden Malay traditional windows toe be incorporated into my house decor. I also gave away all my cats except one since I don't stay on landed property anymore. All in all, there are a few major changes in my life and I'm happy to say that these changes fit me very well. I'm totally grateful that my life is going for the better. We'll see if I will have more time to spare for this blog.

Back To Pangkor

Off To Penang
I'm leaving for Penang today for another wedding and this time, I'm taking the bus. I certainly do not want to risk being late again. After I missed my train to Kl last week, I called my friend, Coco, to ask whether there was any late bus to KL. Lucky for me, there was one but from Ipoh. I had to ask Coco to drive me to Ipoh that very same night in order for me to go to KL. I arrived in KL safely but in a daze. I didn't have enough sleep but I still had to stay awake since I had promised to do the make-up for the bride. Well, I hope Penang will be another story for me. I know I will be meeting lots and lots of relatives and friends but too bad, I can't stay there long this time. I need to come back by Sunday since school will be open soon and I know my service is extremely needed at my salon!

Wet, Sad And Cold
I am so pissed off right now. I was supposed to take the train to go to KL for a wedding reception and everything that could go wrong went wrong. It was raining hard when I left my house so by the time I reached my friend's house (I wanted to leave my bike at his place since his house is just about a hundred metres from the station), I was soaking wet. I had a change of clothes and had to borrow his shorts to go to the train station. I arrived at the station at 10.28 p.m. and there was nobody there. In fact, the train station was quite dark. I was told that the train had left a few minutes earlier. Damn, damn, damn. I had to trudge my way back to my friend's house in the rain and I guess I'll have to see if there is going to be any early bus to KL tomorrow morning. At the moment, I am smoking my half-wet cigarette (I know it's disgusting but what can I do?) and sitting on the floor at my friend's place listening to Donny Hathaway singing 'A Song For You'. How low can you get? I just hope that tomorrow is going to be a better day.
